Can Apple deliver on its promise of new products for this year. With all the research they are doing I sure hope so. Like the article said they have not had any new products since 2010. They need a game changer here soon. Can this watch be it?

I think this is a great idea and gives amazon a little bit of an edge moving forward. With social media such a huge deal why wasnt this thought of sooner.

I just thought this was interesting. It does make you wonder what is on the horizon and what could be the next big thing.

Lets see if Nokia will be successful with this venture. Since Google and Apple already are in the market is this going to be another Nokia flop…just like its phone division. We will see, time will tell on this one. Nokia does have an edge over apple on this venture though. Their biggest competitor is obviously Google so Nokia is already fighting an uphill battle with this one.

What a shocker. Like I said in class, Nokia should stop delaying the inevitable and should join Microsoft. The camera on their phone was great but that is all it was, a camera. Basically it was a smart camera with mobile technology. Nokia still does exist but their network devices division is no more. This new purchase by microsoft could help Nokia focus on more important areas such as NSN, networking business and obviously the high tech areas that could be profitable. We all knew that Nokia would not last by itself when it came to phones. As soon as their Smart Camera came out I said to myself,,,Nokia is not going to last, somebody will buy them out. Long and behold..The day has came and Nokia does not have to worry about delaying the inevitable anymore.

WOW…Facebook acquires yet another app. I just do not know what to say about Facebook anymore. I understand that they pretty much have the market when it comes to social media but it seems like they are acquiring anything that is new and could be the next big thing. If a new app has success in a rather quick fashion it seems Facebook is right there breathing down its neck. Even-though this new venture will have the same relationship that Instagram and WhatsApp has with Facebook, I just do not believe that it will always stay this way. Time will tell and I am sure that Facebook will acquire another App in the near future.
I like this idea but it brings hackers and thieves another outlet to try to get your data. If this is the way of the future I sure hope it is more secure going into the future. Granted it may have decreased fraud but so did the Smart chip credit cards and those still can be hacked. Granted both of these technologies are good business moves and are more secure when it pertains to privacy and security but the reality is nothing is ever secure.
Bitcoin vault Xapo the made news in March after launching an insured, secure repository for big BTC investors. The service, which has gone so far as to bury paper bitcoin keys in underground vaults, has become a big finance darling. Now it’s going after the average user by offering credit cards directly linked to a Xapo bitcoin wallet.
With all the bad press that Bitcoin has gotten I find it hard to believe that anybody will trust using this credit card. Knowing what we all know about Bitcoin I just have a hard time with the privacy and security issues that surround Bitcoin.
I for one like this new revamp. Anything that makes it easier for mobile viewing is fine by me. Since most of the public are using there mobile devices for pretty much everything nowadays.
